Glimmer was known as the Princess of Bright Moon, the very beautiful daughter of Queen Angella and King Micah. Glimmer was the original leader of the Great Rebellion of Etheria  until Adora took over and helped to establish much of its support structure. She had the ability to control light, and could use her powers to teleport, illuminate darkness, refract beams of light, and direct them from her hands. Glimmer was also able to levitate herself and others.

Glimmer was known to occasionally develop infatuations with handsome men.
